Return and Reconstruction
Dimensional backtracking preserved complete technical archives and the surviving population, but every physical industry built before the jump was annihilated. The Dimensional Bridge Authority designated the first legal settlements on the surface and established a unified resource allocation system.
On a blank, undeveloped continent, the first arrivals quickly formed a new social order. An energy and infrastructure coalition led by core engineers kept the surface running while reorganizing into an aerospace agency, determined to restart exploration of low orbit and the stars. Frontier camps, backed by private capital and neutral guilds, established highly autonomous settlements across the continent. Armed personnel and independent wanderers, detached from their former organizations, found work in paid security, border patrols, and hazardous resource surveys.
With the geopolitical order still unsettled, organizations and teams are rewriting the rules of civilization between shared agreements and competing interests.
